Vibe-Coding: How I Built a Portfolio in 15 Minutes with AI
"Vibe-coding" is getting a lot of attention lately. The idea is simple: instead of writing every line of code by hand, you describe what you want and let AI handle the boilerplate, the syntax, and even the deployment. I decided to test just how fast this could actually be.
What is Vibe-Coding?
Vibe-coding isn't about skipping technical principles. It's about using AI tools to take care of the repetitive parts of development so you can stay focused on what matters: the user experience, the flow, and the purpose of what you're building.
The 15-Minute Challenge
Using an AI-assisted workflow, I was able to:
- Define the structure: described the components and data flow in plain language.
- Generate the UI: let the AI iterate on the styling based on broad aesthetic goals.
- Deploy: pushed to production in minutes.

Why This Matters
For developers and product teams, this means the gap between "idea" and "working prototype" has shrunk considerably. You can test UI concepts and structural ideas in real-time, which makes the whole process more experimental and, honestly, a lot more fun.
Is it traditional coding? Not exactly. But it gets real things built fast, and sometimes that's exactly what you need.
